Prior to establishing Chalk Farm Financial Planning I had 14 years working in financial services with the last 10 of those years providing financial advice. The majority of my financial advice career (7 years) was spent at Lloyds Private Banking where I gained specialist knowledge around supporting clients with their retirement planning, investment planning, protection planning and inheritance tax planning needs.

Alongside working with individuals I also have specialist knowledge around financial planning for businesses having provided advice in this area while at Lloyds Private Banking.

I also have a deep understanding of the financial planning issues faced by agriculture having worked as a specialist in this specific area supporting clients with succession planning, risk mitigation and inheritance tax planning.

I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my personal development; this, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing long term relationships, ensures that I am able to offer a bespoke and professional relationship based approach to working with my clients.

I am married to Kylie and have three children, Arielle, Elijah and Rosalie and a Border Collie called Merlin. Kylie and I enjoy spending time as a family with our 3 children and enjoy holidays in the UK, particularly walking in the Lake District. I also enjoy Clay Shooting and spending time on the small family farm where we live.
